This little precious newborn was just the cutest chunk of baby. He was 10 lbs at birth- I can’t even remember the ounces because I was in awe of the 10 pounds! He ate a bunch and got a cozy nap in during his photo shoot. I wasn’t sure if he would let me pose him, but he couldn’t resist his milk induced sleep. He didn’t mind at all, of course. Big brother and sister were also so patient and wonderful helpers. :)
Anyone who knows me will tell you I love jewelry. If I leave the house without earrings I feel naked. I have been known to turn the car around…I am just sayin’. I can’t help it, I come from a long line of women who love accessories!
The hottest thing right now is the statement necklace. Something bold and fun- you can wear with a jacket or even with a T-shirt. What says more of a unique statement than your own photos?!? I love wearing my chunky pewter photo necklaces. People always comment and I get to showcase my kids J I love layering them with other fun necklaces to really make something cool. They are two sided so you can have a different photo on the other side to change it up or even showcase your child’s artwork or your favorite hobby or pastime! The possibilities are endless. Last time I saw Ryan ( http://marielreyes.com/blog/?p=57 ) was his second birthday. Now he is a big 3 year old! That little shyness and uncertainty was gone now and he loved checking out everything at the park. I really wish I could bottle up some 3 year old boy enthusiasm and excitement- it would be more potent than any energy drink ever! Just the sheer joy in everything. We had a great session full of fun and laughter! Just a gorgeous family 
Here are a couple more from the Krista’s portrait party we held at the park. Poor Sara only had maybe 5 minutes before the skies opened up and completely drenched us all! I had such a great time with all these families. I think we got some great shots in just a small about of time.

Seriously…just look at this precious baby girl! Those eyes, that skin and you know you want to squeeze her chubby cheeks! Perfect little doll! She was really inquisitive in studio and took everything in. She really loved being outside with Mommy! She even wore her favorite blue dress. Mommy said she will pick it out of the closet and if given a choice of two dresses with always pick it. Already a fashionista- it is precious on her! So fun to meet this cutie.
Had so much fun with this family. Krista arranged a portrait party for her friends, so more park images to come. We were lucky to get her session in before the downpour! These boys were so great and aren’t mom and dad the sweetest??? Thanks for the great 20 min session!

There really isn’t anything sweeter than a sleepy little newborn? I had to post one of my favorite shots from this session since I hadn’t added it to the blog. She was such a little precious sleeper and let me pose and put hats on her - LOVE IT! For all you expecting mommies, if you want images of your precious newborn curled up and sleeping, the session needs to be done within the first two weeks. Such a blur at this time with a new baby- I have had some mommies “rest their eyes” while we do the sleeping shots. Hey, mommy is supposed to sleep when the baby sleeps right???
Sweet baby Joaquin! I was so happy to get to photograph this little guy after his mommy’s super fun Urban Maternity Shoot. He was just a sweetie at 7 days old and he just did not want to sleep at first! But with swaddling and mommy and daddy’s help, he couldn’t resist any longer. What a precious bundle of joy!
This one makes me laugh. The dogs are thinking “OH NO! Not the noise again!”
Had a great time taking pictures of this senior! He is super funny and I am surprised I was able to keep the camera steady as he had me laughing most of the evening. He also made lots of funny faces and I warned him if he did, I was going to take the picture… so I do have quite the collection and I am considering making a collage of them. ;) Here is a sneak peek of our session.
